The North Bay Bohemian just published a great review of Pointe Patrol. Jonah Raskin writes, “[Beann] pays homage to the firefighters and police officers heralded as first responders, and also shows ordinary folks playing heroic roles during the transformation of Fountaingrove from a quiet suburban neighborhood to a no man’s land and war zone.” Check out the full article here: .

I think I’m going to have to go out and get about thirty of these for posterity! LOL

    Hi Earik,
I wanted to let you know I read your book Pointe Patrol. I’m Troy’s (Wayne’s) mom and even though I knew the outcome and heard a lot of the stories the book still made me tense, cry and laugh. You really captured that son of mine humor.
You all were so amazing the tenacity and restlessness you all shared to save your neighborhood was amazing. The brotherhood/Sisterhood you all shared was amazing and will be with you for the rest of your lives.
I think every year in October you should bring out your BBQ’s have hot dogs, music (Troy has lots of dance moves), and oh course don’t forget the Pliny.
Be sure to give Oscar a big hug from me!
